About

League of Women Voters of Larimer County

Larimer County LWV is a non-profit Colorado corporation registered with IRS under section 501c-4. We are governed by an Administrative Team. Our work is done by a variety of community outreach, issues based and internal support teams. It is through these teams that the LWV fulfills its mission to encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Larimer County is located in Northern Colorado and includes the communities of Fort Collins, Loveland, and Estes Park.  The county is home to Colorado State University, a multitude of successful businesses, wonderful schools, countless nonprofits, and actively engaged public.  Our League is proud to call Larimer  County home and to support its citizens as voters, activists, and thinkers.

As a nonpartisan organization, the League of Women Voters never supports or opposes any candidate or party. We do take positions on issues but only after in-depth study and internal consensus. As such, the League enjoys a strong reputation in the community for providing reliable, balanced information to voters.
