Larimer County – The Affordable Housing Team of the Larimer League of Women Voter has stepped forward to schedule a public meeting for Monday, April 9, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Harmony Library, 4616 S. Shields Street in Fort Collins to discuss this problem. “Affordable Home Ownership?
Over the past few years, as prices of homes have soared along the Front Range, the dream of becoming a homeowner has started to fade away for many residents of our community. It May be Possible!” will be addressed by a panel of experienced experts in the field:
- Jared Reimer, Government Affairs Chair for the Fort Collins Board of Realtors
- Kristin Candella, CEO and Executive Director, Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity
- Melissa Frasure, Program Director for Neighbor to Neighbor
- Alison Hade, Administrator of the Community Partnership Office of the City of Loveland
Safe, affordable housing is a key to stable and healthy communities. The League of Women Voters encourages all interested members of the public to attend this free program and to invite others they know to attend as well.
