Join us for an orientation to the League of Women Voters of Larimer County: Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 4:00 – 5:45 PM. To RSVP and get directions to the orientation, contact Membership Team Leader Linda Mahan at email@example.com or (970) 484-2259
We’ll start with refreshments and informal conversation and move into discussion of our mission, structure and program priorities. Bring your questions, a friend and join us for a stimulating conversation.
In February 2016 the League celebrated 96 years as an organization! Challenges to our civic institutions and the flow of money in politics make the work of the League ever more critical today. The issues we study and act upon are many: affordable housing, climate change, natural resources, health care, voting rights, and reforming money in politics to name a few. In addition, we provide many services to voters like registration and educational forums and materials prior to elections.
Please respond by Thursday, October 27 to Linda Mahan at firstname.lastname@example.org or (970) 484-2259. Details on the location will be provided. Carpooling can be arranged.
