On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Join the Hands Off! National Day of action to stand up against those who believe they can take whatever they want - our democracy, our future, our rights.

Please bring signs or props. Make your message visible! Messages might include "Hands Off Medicaid!", "Hands Off our Data!", "Hands off Democracy", and "Hands Off Schools!"

Registration is not required. You are invited to recruit friends and family to join!

“Light For Our Democracy” Gathering
March 4, 2025

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the League of Women Voters of Larimer County, in coordination with local Leagues and like-minded organizations throughout the nation, hosted a public gathering in our community to bring people together in reflection, action, and solidarity during the President’s address to Congress that same evening.

This event was offered a peaceful and unified space to come together for the health of our democracy, the future of our nation, and the well-being of all its people. An estimated 300 people attended the event, which was concerned by local journalists representing The Coloradoan and the Rocky Mountain Collegian.

The League of Women Voters of Larimer County is a nonpartisan, grassroots civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the League is open to people 16 years and older, of all gender identities. With over 100 years of experience, the League is one of America’s oldest and most trusted civic nonprofit organizations.
