The State sticker was designed by Cosmo Bell, a Fort Collins Compass Community Collaborative school student. Colorado’s 2024 “I Voted” Digital Sticker Design Contest
Cosmo Bell
Fort Collins’ Compass Community Collaborative School 9th Grader

A Fort Collins' student, Cosmo Bell, was the winner of the State "I Voted" digital sticker design contest.

In a press release from the Colorado Secretary of State, Cosmo was asked what it means to him when he hears the word “Democracy. “In essence: Collaboration. It means a bunch of people coming together and recognizing that we need this to succeed as a country, or that we think this is the right course of action. It’s a collaboration between so many different people who all have an effect on how America will function.”

The new digital sticker will be sent to voters enrolled in BallotTrax once their General Election mail ballot has been returned and counted. It will also be featured on the Secretary of State’s website, social media channels, press releases, and as part of a digital effort to encourage people to vote across the state.

In Larimer County, voters will also receive a physical "I Voted" sticker designed by Julia Dicks. The stickers will come in ballot packets and given out at voting locations. The Larimer County Clerk and Recorder conducted the contest for the first time in 2024. To select the winner, the Clerk's office narrowed down the choices to the top 10, and then public voting, using ranked-choice voting, selected the final winner.
