NoCo Foundation Housing Study 2026
NoCo Foundation Housing Study 2026

Housing outcomes in Northern Colorado are shaped by a set of distinct, yet interconnected systems. Together, they define how we plan for and produce housing, and the constraints and opportunities ahead.

Housing at a Crossroads, a report commissioned by the Northern Colorado Foundation, defines five key factors at play:

  • Growth Continues and is Changing Who We Are
  • What We Build Does Not Match What People Need
  • The Affordability Gap is Widening
  • Development Costs and Processes are Limiting What Can Be Built
  • Policy, Land Use, and Community Factors Shape What is Possible

You can find the report here.
