Zoom attendance option available. Please register for the event. We need a quorum to elect Board members and transact other business. You do not have to commit to in-person or virtual attendance at the time of registration. All registrants will receive the Zoom link prior to the meeting. We hope to see you in person, but if circumstances only allow you to join via Zoom, we'll be happy to see your virtual self!

Welcome! Introductions of new members from Membership Team.
President Jane Hamburger’s Opening remarks.
Many big topics to focus on in this meeting.
● Climate Crisis and connections between all LWVLC Teams
● What does Non-Partisanship mean in the Upcoming Election?
● Announcing Parliamentarian and Reading Committee.

Keynote Speaker: Melody Daugherty, Executive Director, Manitou Pollinators and Indigenous Elder. Ms. Daugherty will speak on how to seek solutions to the climate crisis in the Spirit of Justice and Truth. She will introduce ways to find harmony and balance with Eurocentric Ways of Knowing and Understanding Nature. She has spoken before the United Nations Declaration of the Rightsof Indigenous Peoples and is part of an Indigenous non-profit, the Manitou Pollinators Project.

“Larimer County Players, Featuring Miss Pat, Your Kindergarten Teacher”
An experiential presentation to enact our other area of emphasis: the Upcoming Election. We present the opening act of Miss Pat [Horner], your Kindergarten Teacher and her “Students” as they gather in the Morning Circle to discuss some ways to handle “Nonpartisanship and the LWV.” We will end with a call for all teams to discuss the difference between nonpartisan education work and advocacy work.

Move to the Business Meeting
Parliamentarian Jodie Rankin, will establish a quorum.
