A high school congressional debate tournament held under the auspices of the National Speech and Debate Association. Many high schools will participate.
Congressional Debate (also known as Student Congress) is like a simulation of the real United States Congress. It is a competitive interscholastic high school event. The students will debate and vote on pieces of legislation A group of students called a Chamber will compete in a legislative session.
