Pollinators are vital to our food production, and their survival is in trouble. Habitat loss, climate change, pesticides and disease are some factors leading to their decline. Your home and garden are big opportunities for you to be part of a state-wide solution for pollinator protection. We will focus our efforts with the People and Pollinator Action Network through Education & Collaboration while Advocating for our Pollinators through public policy. Speakers: Joyce Kennedy is the chief coordinator of People and Pollinators Action Network (PPAN). Desneige Hallbert Sodano is a landscape designer and urban planner in Fort Collins with Norris Design, who is passionate about protecting and promoting pollinators in her work. Open to the public.
