“Light For Our Democracy” Gathering
Fort Collins Federal Building (Post Office)
301 South Howes St, Fort Collins
6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the League of Women Voters of Larimer County, in coordination with local Leagues across the country, is hosting a public gathering in our community, in solidarity with people throughout the nation, to bring people together in reflection, action, and solidarity during the President’s address to Congress that same evening.

This event will offer a peaceful and unified space to come together for the health of our democracy, the future of our nation, and the well-being of all its people. Please join us! Speakers will address the gathering throughout the event.

Register here to let us know you're coming: https://www.mobilize.us/lightfordemocracy/event/759881/

To symbolize the light we shine on democracy, join our gathering!

Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and plan to bring:

  • A battery-operated votive candle, small flashlight, or your cellphone with a light.
  • A sign with a simple and nonpartisan message.
  • League branding, such as a hat with the logo, keeping in mind the weather.
