Engaging Young Voters Ad Hoc Team Meeting
About this event
Let's get together and discuss all these opportunities:
- Initiate the Voter Girl Project (Big thanks to Linda Thomas for getting this going!)
- Produce short videos with Young voters for social media (A few were produced prior to last national election... and some planned for Unite & Rise 8.5 efforts)
- Attend youth-led meetings (need more of this networking activity)
- Promote civics education in high schools (partnering with voter registration efforts)
- Examine opportunities for League internships (contact made with CSU Marketing Dept. and Boulder LWV re: their internship program)
- Explore opportunities to reach out to the Women of Leadership Under 30 profiled in the NoCo Style Magazine (not started)
- Support a screening of the "Counted Out" documentary (viewed film, have contact with the producers
