About this event
The Environmental Team is participating in a facilitated discussion to include YOUR ideas for the Hughes Stadium site. By Zoom, 2-12 participants will discuss the possibilities. Each participant will complete their individual digital survey to be sent to a Civic Assembly for shaping into a recommendation to the Fort Collins Council. Your ideas will join with other discussions across Fort Collins.
The discussion will be only about ideas that address the voter approved ballot language from 2021 that allowed the City of Fort Collinse56r75 to purchase the land from CSU. Critical excerpts are “…acquire…to use for parks, recreation, and open lands, natural areas, and wildlife rescue and restoration…”
Eligible participants are Fort Collins and other Larimer County residents and non-League members. Interpretation services are available with advance notice.
The 164.56 acre site is on S. Overland Trail and County Road 42C. This process is a partnership with the City of Fort Collins and the CSU Center for Public Deliberation.
