About this event
Program planning is a hallmark of the League of Women Voters grassroots’ role in study and action to move our mission forward. It is the grassroots process of recommending and selecting governmental issues for study and agreement in reaching a position.
For our January 2022 General Membership meeting the LWVLC will conduct program planning and make program recommendations on US and local issues. We will share information on how our work has and will continue to impact the Campaign for Making Democracy Work® as well as identify the LWVUS and LWVLC positions that we use in education and advocacy. A DEI lens will broaden the process by examining how our positions and actions are perceived by a variety of communities, voices, and perspectives, and what, if any, barriers may exist that prevent it from being equitable or inclusive of everyone.
All LWVLC members are strongly encouraged to attend. Your voice is valued! Please invite prospective new members to attend as your guests. Closed captioning will be available.
