CrossCurrents Explores Solid Waste

garbage-1308138_640The 53-year-old Larimer County Landfill will close by 2025. How will materials be managed throughout the region for the next decades?

On February 22 at 7 pm CrossCurrents hosted a discussion on Solid Waste: Can we do better?  All CrossCurrents programs are filmed at the City Council Chamber, (300 Laporte, Fort Collins, 80521) Barbara Rutstein served as the moderator.

Panelists included the following:

  • Tyler Bandemer, Superintendent, Solid Waste Division  for City of Loveland
  • LeeAnn Davis, Owner, Canyon Utilities, Inc
  • Ron Gilkerson, Larimer County Solid Waste Project Director
  • Kelly Ohlson, Former Fort Collins Mayor and Recycling Activist
