The Health Care Team of the League of Women Voters – Larimer County, in partnership with the Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care, and NoCoNOW, are sponsoring a free community educational program on Improved Medicare for All – especially focusing on business owners and the money they would save with universal health care.
The programs will be held:
- October 9 from 5:00-7:00 at Harmony Library, 3400 S. Shields in Fort Collins
- October 16 from 5:00-7:00 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 3448 Taft in Loveland.
Refreshments will be served from 5:00 – 5:30, & the program will be from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. The 38-minute FixIt movie will be shown, followed by a discussion with several local business owners about the current challenges they face with offering health care to their employees.

The LWV never supports or opposes candidates or parties, but does take stands on issues. These stands are based on positions which are the result of intensive study, discussion of pros and cons and, eventually, member consensus, all at the grassroots level. These positions are the basis for advocacy at the national, state, and local levels.
