The Board of Directors (BOD) is composed of nine members, elected for two-year terms. The BOD meets monthly to review financials, set and apply policy decisions, coordinate board sponsored events. Meetings are open to League members for any part of board meetings that are not confidential nature.
At the League's Annual Meeting, members elect the BOD members, approve an annual budget, adopt the program for the year, and conduct such other LWVLC business as is necessary. Programs and other activities are carried out by a variety of teams and committees which reflect member interests and program priorities.
The League is a Colorado nonprofit corporation registered with the IRS under section 501(c)(3).
