The annual Back-to-League Night will be held at Foothills Unitarian Church on
Monday, September 13, 2010.
Sign-in begins at 5:15 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m. Please call Barbara Carson for reservations

A full program is planned, highlighted by a panel discussion, "All You
Ever Wanted to Know about Redistricting."
Panelists include Professors Jeff Borg and John Straayer as well as
State Senator Bob Bacon.
Candidate Forums on September 22, 29 and October 6, 2010
The public is encouraged to attend and submit written questions. These forums are an important way to find out the
positions these candidates hold on state and local issues.
The evenings will begin with each candidate being asked,
"Why are you running for office and what skills or experience do you bring
to that office?" Written questions concerning state and local issues,
submitted by audience members, will be posed by the forum moderator to the
candidates. A good and
effective government depends not only on an active, voting public but one that
is informed as well. We encourage everyone to join us at these forums to hear what
our candidates have to say. The forums are sponsored by the League of Women Voters of
Larimer County, a nonpartisan organization, in cooperation with the Cities of
Loveland and Fort Collins. For more information regarding the forum in Loveland, call 970-669-8230. The forums in Fort Collins will be broadcast live on Channel 14 and rebroadcast periodically until the election.
